Join us at Art Lab, where you’ll combine the joy of hands-on art with great food, drinks, and the charm of Little Dipper Farm in the spring. Celebrate May! In Affiliation with Mother’s Day: Origami Thought Boxes: A Fusion of Calligraphy and Origami | May 11, 2025 | 11 AM – 2 PM
Celebrate the special people in your life with a heartfelt, handmade creation! In this special workshop, we’ll combine the delicate art of origami with the beauty of calligraphy to craft Origami Thought Boxes. These thought boxes are made from folded paper and decorated with calligraphy (which means “beautiful writing”). They can be used to store written wishes, dreams, promises, thoughts, poems, or mantras. Origami Thought Boxes are a great way to express yourself and connect with your inner thoughts and feelings!
Guided by Shaun Rock, professional artist and sole proprietor of the Shaun Rock Gallery, you’ll learn the basics of folding intricate origami boxes and adding personal touches with decorative lettering. Whether you’re making a gift for Mom, a cherished mentor, or yourself, this workshop is a beautiful way to express gratitude and creativity.

Let’s Rock! In Affiliation with Father’s Day: Rock Painting Workshop | June 15, 2025 | 11 AM – 2 PM
This Father’s Day, celebrate with creativity and color at our Rock Painting Workshop! Whether you’re a dad looking for a fun way to unwind, or a friend or family member wanting to share a memorable experience, this workshop is the perfect way to get hands-on and creative.
We’ll provide everything you need—garden stones, vibrant paints, and inspiration—to craft unique designs, from meaningful messages to nature-inspired artwork. No prior experience is needed—just bring your imagination!
Join us for a relaxed, fun-filled session where you can paint, bond, and take home a one-of-a-kind keepsake. It’s a perfect way to spend the day with kindred spirits, making memories one brushstroke at a time!
June Events
Summer Vibes Festival – June 28, 2025 | 10 AM – 3 PM
Come and join us for our 4th annual Summer Vibes Festival. There will be talks, tours, activities for kids and much more! We have the wonderful Rose Room serving food & beverages all day!
Our trails will be open and our fields will be beautiful! The hammock lounge will be ready for you and yours. We will have some wonderful local artisans & vendors as well as some special entertainment throughout the day! There will be a full schedule when you arrive and we are so excited to kick off the 2025 season with you!
There is no fee to attend but we encourage you to register! There will be a raffle and proceeds will be donated to Brooklyn Cares: Brooklyn Cares ❤️ Community Center
Cancelation Policy: In the event, LDF has to cancel an event, there will be a full refund. If there are personal reasons someone can no longer attend an event, they should reach out to info@littledipperfarm.org and we will do our best to accommodate.
Private Social Events
Little Dipper Farm is the perfect place to bring a group of family and friends together. Our event planners will work with you to arrange the indoor or outdoor space, catering, and anything else you may need. Whether it’s a family reunion, grandparent’s birthday party, or bridal shower, Little Dipper Farm will be sure to create new memories for you and your guests.
