Little Dipper Farm is a place of retreat, education, and sustainable agriculture that promotes inclusivity and community.
Rooted in values that speak to respect for the earth, the people, and sharing, Little Dipper Farm is a destination for those wishing to relax and enjoy nature, to reconnect with the outdoors and to educate themselves on how to keep the environment healthy and sustainable.
Spanning a little over 270 acres (Little Dipper Farm sold 317 acres to the Conservation Fund in April 2024), stroll the property and hike through wooded trails, expansive fields and alongside a 26-acre pond that reflects the open sky above.
We host events every month bringing people together in a beautiful environment, taking them away from their day-to-day routines and immersing them into the present moment. Through delicious food, farm-to-table drinks, captivating music and interactive recreational activities, members can experience joyous moments with like-minded people.
At Little Dipper Farm, we will introduce permaculture and sustainable agriculture methods that work in concert with ecosystem processes. We are consistently developing innovative programming for all ages to learn more about the history of the property, the agricultural production from start to finish and regenerative growth of both farmland and forest.
Only an hour and a half from Boston and 45 minutes from downtown Providence, lose yourself in the rolling hills, lush forests and fresh air of Northeastern Connecticut.
